My other two precious kiddos! I am always surprised at how they change! This visit I got to stay over at Jeff and Karen's. I had a wonderful visit ! ( thanks Brady ....you were the most "put out" by my stay:) I have wonderful Brothers with beautiful wives...giving me sisters that I never had and they are raising these terrific kids!

I had a great visit home to Canada! This was one of the many surprises! We were not able to head home for the 90th....so I made sure to be there for 91!

Sunday Riders

I am not complaining ...it was 70 today and so we went for a ride......for those who know me and don't believe it ....I do ride the Harley!

But so that you can put it in perspective....I borrowed my daughters jacket as well as the chaps.....I don't own a real "Harley Costume"

It really was a perfect photograph. The young fellow had a wonderful smile , the lighting and positioning were just fine. It would not seem to most of us perfect…….both of his eyes were completely black….compliments of a concussion, the bright yellow cast on this arm and the drooping shoulder….arm and collar bone broken. We can’t overlook the huge bandage covering the 4 inch gash that had narrowly missed the main artery running upwards from his knee and abundance of nicks, scratches and bruises.
His father explained that a wild bike ride down the neighborhood hill into a parked truck was the culprit that had nearly scared them to death! BUT there was that fantastic smile…actually thrilled to have these “war wounds” documented! FLASH!
In my heart I softly heard….I don’t heal broken hearts….I heal the broken hearted….Some of these scares we wear are just fine… they need to be documented with a smile….because our loving Father supplies the healing we need where it really counts.
