This was an adorable couple that came in from Birmingham ....their little boy is due on the day after Christmas.

The weather was wonderful and we took advantage of it!

A Few Retreat Projects

I am usually too busy to get things made at the retreat....here are a few of my projects

These books are so fun!

This was one of our Retreat projects.... they are so easy and they look wonderful!

You take an old book....take out the insides( pages) ..... pick paper you like and get "happy " with Modge Podge . It sticks the paper on beautifully. An eyelet setter and eyelets get the holes looking spectacular!

A twist of some wire and a few pretty beads and your pages are ready to be secured.... the possiblities are endless!

Staff Retreat Sumatanga 2009

This year we repeated our trip to Sumatanga for our Staff Retreat...... Stacie and I usually get pretty worn out by this adventure...but it is something that seems to "grow " the friendships on staff and also gives them something of a reward for thier hard work. We truely had the most BEAUTIFUL weather that we have had in weeks ...so wonderful!
