This is the neatest plant...no one seems to know what it is though?????? The berries are such a brilliant color... and the clusters make it even more interesting!

"Pretty" Unusual!
Evidence of Autumn
It was a spendid weather day today and after ten days of rain I laid down the hammer ( building an ARK!) and picked up the camera.
Look closely and you will see a little fly I caught in this shot.....lots to see in the backyard today:)

Movin Some Furniture
I love this cabinate. It has been in the office for a few years and we moved things around and I have it in the Living room ...YIPPEEE!
Time to decorate for Fall......I love this time of year.
Fear The Sting!
Oxford takes it's Football seriously! It was an undertaking ..no doubt.. to simply get that sign painted.....BUT that was nothing compared to the effort involved in getting something that large, and paper upright! ALL HANDS ON DECK!
Ten minutes to get ready...two seconds to tear it up!
Somebody always falls....never fails! The pile up follows...it's an always kinda thing:)
Feeling Like Fall
So I keep hoping for cooler weather....it isn't working so I decided I would act on my Autumn itch to do some baking...........Here is the result

Down Under
Andrew and Randy have spent the afternoon under the car...transmission fluid change I believe. The lighting in the garage was really neat so I took advantage of making some "manly" rather than "pretty" photos :)
Football Season
Andrew's season started a little while back but this was the first game I have made it to....It was in Birmingham. The Yellow jackets stung hard...44-0
Andrew is Number 23...He sure loves this game......He had three interceptions this game and was pretty proud of himself.

My Girl
She has had a busy weekend.......the biggest stress ....... the ACT Test ...that was Saturday and it's officially over...at least this month...try number two will be in October. It is amazing that this is her Senior year and that those beautiful eyes are looking into her future as an adult...wow This weekend Andie and her Dad spent some time "jamming"...Keys and Drums .....I am amazed every time I listen to the songs she has written...God has given her such a gift. I was reminded that the musicians were often sent ahead of the army in the bible...they lead the battle! I believe with all my heart that the music that she writes will one day lead in the same way. This world is full of "battles" but we know Who is victorious...keep leading us to the victorious One sweet child of God!
UnBEElievable!
BEEcause they are everywhere!
We had noticed that each morning our front door was BEEcoming an active spot for some yellowjackets!
But BEEfore long there was a slight sag it the soffet........I think it might BEE their home....YIKES!
We are trying the latest in BEE traps...as well as the good old BEE and WASP spray....hoping to BEE successful!

Dog Days Of Summer Come To An End
Colby lives a rather relaxed life.......my ten and a half year old friend. I can't believe he's been with us that long!
The white fur shows off his age.... but he still jumps two feet off the ground when the food dish is about to get filled.....still a little spunk!
Colby "noses" me well....my loyal friend!
Wait Just A Dog-gone Minute
I had a dog that wanted to stare at the camera this afternoon and I couldn't resist! Who could look at those sweet eyes. I thought I was a cat person until eleven years ago and I held a yellow fur ball we named Colby and I have been hooked on canine since!
Brooke is a very sweet dog..........
